Why choose My Little Patch Bandana Bibs?

bandana bib bicycle grey

Our bandana bibs have a 100% cotton absorbent top layer which wicks away dribble and is gentle against baby's skin. Plus an option of having a super soaker bamboo insert... 100 % cotton is most efficient at absorbing dribble as it is able to soak up to 27 times its weight in water! (Many other dribble bibs use man made fibres which are less absorbent and can often irritate the skin!)
Our unique and amazingly soft minkee lining prevents the dribble soaking through to baby's clothes and chest...helping to prevent rashes.

Hi and welcome to my website! Thanks for taking a look! I am Claire, a mum to four (yes four!) gorgeous children. My husband is a teacher and I was at Uni, studying to be a teacher until baby number three decided to surprise us! Katie-Mae being my first little girl inspired me to get the sewing machine out and have a go at creating something a little different to the norm. I was bored of seeing the same old designs in high street stores that every other child was in at the local baby group.

So I went on a mission to find some fabrics that would stand out in a crowd. That's when I discovered designers such as Alexander Henry, Michael Miller and Robert Kaufman. I love their cutting edge, conversational, retro designs, which I feel, make unbelievably cool and bespoke baby accessories.

I made a few funky bandana bibs to start with and whenever Katie-Mae wore one many people would stop and ask me where they could get one from. So after becoming a little too addicted to buying fabric and making some for friends I thought...hey I could do this on a larger scale...why not? At least I get to stay home with the family, earn a bit of money and do something I love!

So here I am, sharing my favourites with you!
